All of the islands in French Polynesia have ancient ruins that are evidence of a civilization of people that once lived here. These ruins are called "Muraes" (pronounced "Mur-rays"). Here, Bob and I are hitching in the back of a local pick-up truck to get to the top of the island where Moorea's Muraes are found.
