Moorea is one of the most beautiful islands on the planet well-know for great diving. One of our fellow sailors on another boat comemnted, "I've sailed all around the Earth and this is as good as it gets. No place is more beautiful than here."

It's also a great place for sailors becasue of the depth of Cooks Bay which is mostly greater than 60 feet (20 meters). However, Bob and I were able to find a little cove inside the island's main reef, near the Bali Hai hotel, where the depth was just 10 feet which was great for snorkeling. One night, during a full-moon we ate dinner outside under the moon and then jumped in for a skinny dip. Fortunately, Bob's girlfriend, Ingaborg joined us in this adventure ;)
